There could be various reasons that the error message "Unable to load .... Required DLL's: NLSReportGenerator53000.dll, mfc140.dll" is generated. The most common three reasons are the following:
- Your NLS Report Pack is not updated. To install the Report Pack, go to Global Setup -> System -> Reports AutoInstall -> Get Files -> Locate the .nrp file -> Restart NLS after installation. Once the .nrp file is installed, all reports are installed in the DB. Other users do not have to install it again. They just have to restart their NLS to use the reports. The latest Report Pack can be found from the Community here.
- For licensed clients only- Your NLS bin folder is missing the NLSReportGenerator53000.dll file. The bin folder is usually located in C:\Program Files (x86)\Nortridge Software\NLS\bin. If the .dll file is missing from the bin folder, you will need to download and install the NLS Report Generator 53000 MSI, which can be found from the Community here.
- Your machine might not have the required MS Visual C++ 2015 Redistributable, either 32-bit or 64-bit version depending on the OS, (with AWS, even though it’s a 64bit server need to install the 32bit package) which can be downloaded by following the link from the Release Notes:
Reports require the Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 Redistributable.
Please download and install the Redistributable Package prior to running reports in NLS:
