The Default Privileges display allows you to configure a set of privileges, which are automatically loaded onto any new user at the time the user is created. Setup of default privileges is identical to the setup of user privileges.
Users will only “inherit” the Default Privileges that were in place prior to their User Access being added. Therefore, Default Privileges should be set up prior to adding any Users.
If you want to set up the Default Privileges such that ALL users would be able to view and query ALL loans and contacts, set as shown below. Notice that besides selecting view and query, you must also select Access to other Officers Contacts and Access to other Officers Loans.
If you only want each Loan Officer to view their own loans, then you would NOT check Access to other Officers Loans.
