How to check what version of remote desktop protocol (RDP) is supported by Remote Desktop Connection (RDC):
*Note ASP (Hosted) clients must have a version of RDC that supports at least RDP 8.0 or higher, otherwise you can’t log in to NLS. You will need to go to Microsoft.com to update your RDC software.
1. In Remote Desktop Connection, click on the icon in the upper left corner, then click “About”:
2. You will see the following display and what version of Remote Desktop Protocol is supported. In this example, 10.5 is supported:
