The steps to create a trace file, vary upon if you are using the licensed or hosted version of our software.


For hosted users: Click on the file tab and select "Initiate Trace file" and then tell the system the path where you would like the trace file to be saved.  Once this is done, you will reproduce the steps needed to recreate your issue.  You can now close NLS and navigate to the path where the trace file was saved.


For Licensed users: Launch NLS but do not log into any database.  Click on the connections button and in the trace file field enter the path where you wish the trace file to be saved.  Then log into your database and reproduce the steps needed to recreate your issue.  You can now close NLS and navigate to the path where the trace file was saved.
